Hello! Good Day!

Hello!!! Welcome to my blog! This is the place where you get to see all my most current work and everything that's happening in my life. I can't wait to share the exciting events happening at Elisha Orin Photography.

I have been a professional photographer for over 6 years and I love my job! I get to travel everywhere and photograph people in love. How exciting is that? I have a BA in Photography and Fine Art. I studied at Miami International Fine Arts College and then finished at Edinboro University. I reside in both Jamestown, NY and St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands and am happy to travel anywhere you'd like to photograph your events. I strive to capture your moments with a fresh and modern approach. I specialize in wedding photography, high school senior photography, engagement sessions, boudoir photography,  babies, and family photography. By the river they pledged their love forever. The guests around them admiring Olivia’s sparkle that she radiates on everyone. Always smiling. Always laughing. Always making everyone feel welcome. I look around and felt as if I was in another land. It was so romantic. The river flowing. The grapes strung on the arch. The guitar playing and Olivia in that Italian inspired lace gown. Simply and elegantly beautiful. …………….ok…there were a few motor boats that buzzed by too…

Dereks mom had the coolest things in her house

today was an amazing day ! I got to share some of what I know with some amazing women. Some women are starting there career in photography and some just wanted to get better photos of their little ones. I don’t ever really photograph with others and it was so fun I could have done it for another day…..I just want to thank  all you awesome girls for the fun!!! If you are interested in a workshop please email me at orinfoto@windstream.net. I just might have another class in the mainland before october.

I also want to thank mick, Megan, and cameryn for being my models…and for my girls Raiven and Ellie for all the help! Here are some photos of Cameryn. Unfortunately I left my sd card in my computer for our wedding shoot so I was shooting on demo mode….Hoping the women who came will get something to show of our models.

I loved this wedding…so beautiful. Simple, romantic, natural…..Something about a bible sitting on a wooden altar …out in the middle of nowhere with an amazing view……. just makes your heart go THUMP.

Meet April and Matthew. They are really amazing and special. They have decide to wait to kiss each other until their wedding day. Which is so beautiful…. I’m sure many of you are like really…huh?….. but what is so amazing about this is they really know each other. They spend their time together talking and being silly. …they are so in love and have an amazing Christ centered relationship. …and they are anxiously awaiting for that kiss…( which I will get to witness). I can only hope for this amazing love for my kids someday.

I know April's hair is in the way...but I love this photo. I think this must be so them!

It was well worth the hour drive to photograph Addison and Parker. They were just adorable. Addison looked like a little super model.... Parker so adorable.....my favorite part about this shoot was when their mom played I got a feeling and told them to "Raise the Roof" in the car to get the PUMPED UP!!! Love it!!!
