Hello! Good Day!

Hello!!! Welcome to my blog! This is the place where you get to see all my most current work and everything that's happening in my life. I can't wait to share the exciting events happening at Elisha Orin Photography.

I have been a professional photographer for over 6 years and I love my job! I get to travel everywhere and photograph people in love. How exciting is that? I have a BA in Photography and Fine Art. I studied at Miami International Fine Arts College and then finished at Edinboro University. I reside in both Jamestown, NY and St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands and am happy to travel anywhere you'd like to photograph your events. I strive to capture your moments with a fresh and modern approach. I specialize in wedding photography, high school senior photography, engagement sessions, boudoir photography,  babies, and family photography. I think in every blog I always say how I’m so excited to photograph so and so’s wedding.  As I  realized how repetitive I have been sounding, it also came to me that I have so many great clients this year.  I don’t have a fave, I just like them all. I’m so excited about the direction my business is going. I’m traveling everywhere and It’s so much fun! I will be leaving for St Thomas/ St John for some weddings  next week.  I’m also going to be photographing an actual proposal ( super fun). If I have Internet connection I will try to daily keep you all posted on what is happening personally and what my camera  has been up to. 

 

CONTEST!!!!!  I want to bring someone home a souvenir from the islands! It may be a t- shirt or something else, I will know what to get when I see it. If you leave a comment on my blog and your the 7th “comment leaver” You will get a suprise gift from me. Tell me anything. Like, oh, Elisha I really love you work ( blushing) or tell me your fav trip you took, whatever you want. I will not approve the comments until I get back on the 21st so that none of you will know when six have already been left ( cheaters!!!!)

After I saw the finished product I was amazed at your forward thinking on what you were trying to do. Having shot many portraits and some wedding many years ago(well before digital photography) I am extremely impressed by your dedication to an entirely "new style". I also can appreciate your work ethic. Lying down in the surf in Megans Bay, St Thomas, to get the perfect angle did surprise me a tad.
